Keyword Sidekick software for creating and using controlled vocabularies

Mar 4, 11:58 AM , , Shangara Singh

Catalyst Software have just released Keyword Sidekick, an application for creating keyword collections from a keyword catalog (controlled vocabulary) prior to applying to images.

You can create keyword collections with one-click, put the collections on the clipboard or drag-n-drop to apply to images using any browser that allows metadata editing. For example, Bridge CS2, or earlier; Photoshop 7.0, or earlier; iView Media Pro, etc.

You can also create a new keyword catalog or modify an existing one. For example, if you use a spreadsheet program, such as Excel, to create your keyword collections, you can save the file as a tab-delimited file and then work in Keyword Sidekick, which is specifically designed to handle keywords, unlike a spreadsheet program.

You can purchase Keyword Sidekick by itself, a demo keyword catalog is included, or with a Keyword Catalog. The Keyword Catalog contains over 37,000 keywords organised into categories and subcategories for easier navigation and access.
